Marie Connole is launching her Artist Book

‘Opening the Portal: Immrama to the Otherworld’

in the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon.

The launch is part of Clare Culture Night and will take place on Friday 21st September at 5.30 p.m.

The book explores the traditional cultural narratives that have shaped the coastal margins of County Clare. The central theme is the metaphorical journey to the legendary village of Kilstipheen, said to lie at the bottom of Liscannor Bay.

In addition there will be a screening of the video ‘Tea-Time Tales’ which was filmed during a workshop led by the artist for Bealtaine Festival 2018. For more visit
